Seriously, go see your doc. you can get a nasal spray which should sort it out. I had the same problem and it worked for me. Cant remember what the spray was called tho, it was about 7 years ago. before that i'd had the problem on and off since i was a kid.
If the nose spray doesn't work they may want to corterise the lining of your nose....
better hope the spray works.....

Shaun, what sort of top is it? (I mean the fabric not the style)

Soak overnight in salty water
(make sure the water is cold because hot water will cook the stain into the fabric) and rinse.
Treat with 'shout' 'vanish' or something similar and wash as normal!

This should work!

Well, cheapo co-op own brand colour care tablets work fine.

Believe me, I know. In my job I get some SERIOUS blood stains on my clothes. Sometimes to the extent that I have to put all my clothes in a bucket and drive home in a paper boiler suit. (one of my colleagues was stopped by the police because someone had reported blood running down the back of his car from where he sat down to get changed )

Co-op own brand, colour care, biological washing tablets. If they are heavily soaked, I rinse them out in a bucket of cold water a couple of times first and scrape any lumps off. Then a 40 degree wash.

Works on tan chinos and those chequered 'farmers' shirts anyway.

Forgot to say, I don't know if they work on white clothes, but if you dress your 9 year old son in white clothes, you deserve everything you get.

nose bleed> go see doc, I had my nose quarterized(bastard hurt) as I was getting heavy nosebleeds all the time, sneezing, after running, anything. takes the piss when you gotta be up at 7 for school and were woken at 2am surrounded by your own blood from your nose. the persistent nose bleed lasted well over an hour and I was very ill. Just about the most severe form of nose bleed,

Even once had a double barrelled one, such a good job we have a tiled red floor

The top> you should have kept the clothing item wet as soon as you got blood on it, not letting the blood dry so that the pigments in the blood could not stain, however now it is most likely dry and crusty and brown lol
